I understand these are independent nations but to just tax those staying at the hotel is really just upping the fee as is done when other hotels added the "resort fee". I am also trying to wrap my head around the fact that besides the $150 a night there was a tribal tax added. I was also not happy as they seemed to know they were getting the overflow and charge more per night ($150) than the other casino/hotel. The other casino was much better with lots of amenities and places to eat.
I stayed there because I was attending a convention at the other casino and it was sold out. During my stay, none of the cafes were open - just Thursday through Sunday.
It was two hours after check-in so that is always frustrating after a long travel to get to the hotel. After all of this the front desk person said the room wasn't ready. Check in was very long with lots of forms to fill out and there seem to be a real focus and everything you couldn't do. Rooms are large and in very good condition. Great Espresso Bar that had great coffee and several nice breakfast items and staff was friendly and efficient.
